MATH 231 – Discrete Mathematics

Textbook:  Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications, 6^th edition; Kenneth Rosen; McGraw Hill.

Prerequisite:  Math 121, Differential Calculus (with a C or better), appropriate scores on the assessment exams or demonstrated competency.  Prerequisites ensure that students entering this class have an adequate background to efficiently learn the material in the class and that they have a reasonable chance of success.
