Course Description:  This course will be the examination of group behavior and the theoretical approaches to understanding and studying group behavior.  Students will gain knowledge of the various aspects of group dynamics and the psychology of how individuals act and respond in-group situations. Various types of groups will be studied such as work groups, therapy groups, self help groups, etc.  Through role-play students will learn functions of leadership, roles, norms, and group interaction.
